The WZ series offers a broad selection of standard sizes: diameters from 12.7 mm to 180 mm and thicknesses from 2.0 mm to 6.0 mm (refer to part numbers WZ‑0.5‑2 through WZ‑180‑6). These ZnSe windows are primarily used to shield optics in CO₂ laser cutting heads, beam transfer systems, and housings from process debris, while keeping 10.6‑μm transmission high.

Although the bare ZnSe material transmits IR well, we strongly recommend a dual‑band AR coating (<0.2% reflectance per surface at 10.6 μm) to maximize output and mitigate thermal lensing. Custom optics—in terms of both coating and size—are available on request.
