Our chalcogenide glass lenses are manufactured from premium WIRG series chalcogenide infrared glass. Working within 8–14μm long-wave infrared spectrum. Features excellent infrared transmittance, low thermal expansion and optional athermalized design, widely used for uncooled infrared thermal imaging, night vision and infrared optical systems.

Chalcogenide lenses are IR optics made from sulfur (S), selenium (Se), and tellurium (Te) glass, often mixed with arsenic (As).
