Our BC Series (BK7/Fused Silica) and BCZ Series (ZnSe) Beam Combiners are dichroic optics designed to merge an invisible infrared laser beam with a visible aiming beam at a 45° angle of incidence. The main laser (e.g., 1064nm fiber, 10.6μm CO₂, 532nm green, or 355nm UV) is transmitted through the combiner, while a visible pilot beam (typically 650nm red or 532nm green) is reflected at 90° and co‑aligned along the same optical path. This enables easy, safe alignment of high‑power IR lasers for cutting, welding, or marking.
