In order to promote the development of optoelectronic technology and encourage students to improve their ability, Wavelength Opto-Electronic Science&Technology Co., Ltd. has set up a “Wavelength Scholarship” to specifically support the talent training of College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University.
As a subordinate fund of Zhejiang University Education Foundation, the fund is incorporated into the unified management and operation of Zhejiang University Education Foundation, and is implemented in accordance with “the donation agreement of Nanjing Wavelength Opto-Electric Science&Technology Co., Ltd. to Zhejiang University Education Foundation”. Nanjing Wavelength would invest tens of thousands CNY every year, mainly for the following aspects:
1. It is used to set up a "Wavelength scholarship" in the College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University.
• This scholarship is used to reward full-time Master and doctoral students in the College of Optoelectronic Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University.
• The scholarship will be established for three consecutive years, with 5 awards each year.
• Award selection requirements: be proactive, be willing to help others, have excellent academic achievements and outstanding scientific research achievements
2. Support the College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University to hold the "Wavelength Cup" optoelectronics technology competition, which will be held for two times.
The College of Optical Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University has long been in a leading position in the research and education in the field of optoelectronics in China, and many personnel in Wavelength Opto-Electronic, including our CEO, are graduated from here. We believe there will be more cooperation in technological innovation and talent training between both parties in future.
