OEM athermal Manufacturer – UV Lens for Ultraviolet Band Imaging – Wavelength Detail:

Product information:

Ultraviolet lens uses light from the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum. Only near UV is of interest for UV photography, for several reasons. Ordinary air is opaque to wavelengths below about 200 nm, and lens glass is opaque below about 180 nm.

Our UV lens is designed for imaging applications in 190-365nm light spectrum. It is optimized and have very sharp image for 254nm wavelength light, ideal for use in a variety of applications, including the surface inspection of circuits or fiber optics, quality control of semiconductor materials, or for detection of electrical discharge. Additional applications include forensic, pharmaceutical, or biomedical imaging, fluorescence, security, or counterfeit detection.

Wavelength provides UV lens in near-diffraction-limited performance. All of our lenses would go through strict optical/mechanical performance and environmental tests to ensure the best quality.
